Ambassadors Committee
Chair Jetty Duffer, Individual
The New Boston Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors Committee serves as a personal connection between teh Chamber leadership, staff, and individual members through personal contact wiht the Chamber membership each year. The Ambassadors also welcome new business to New Boston as well as doing business tours during their monthly meetings. They represent the Chamber at ribbon cuttings and other events.
Budget Committee
Chair Carol Branum, Texar Credit Union
The Budget committee is responsible for creating a budget for the coming physical year and administering the budget, by using the previuos two years budget as a guideline to help establish the new budget. The budget will go into affect January 1st and the Chairman will be responsible for giving a report at each board meeting.
Business Development Committee

The Business Development Committee consists of Industrial, Retail and Economic Development and promoties enterpreneurship in New Boston by providing specialized education and networking opportunities to CHamber members. The Committee presents the Samll Business Education Development Seminar Series, thought-provoking sessions on topics important to small business owners. Additionally, the Committee plans regular networking events.
Communications Committee

The Communicaitons Committee utilizes a variety of marketing and public relations channels to promote both teh Chamber and its business members and the New Boston community. These channels include the website, Chamber publications and Chamber events. The committees responsibilities include researching new marketing opportunities.
Education Committee
Chair Gary VanDeaver, Superintendent, New Boston ISD
The Education Committee ensures continued excellence of public and private education by promoting school/business partnerships and educating members and the public about education's role in improving the business climate and quality of life in New Boston.
Governmental Affairs Committee
Chair Mike Welch, Industrial Air Systems
Much of the policy and regulation affecting small business is conducted at the local, municipal and county levels. The Chamber's Local Government Affairs Committee works with our area city counicls, school boards and Bowie County Commissioners Court to encourage equitable, business-friendly policies that are in the best interest of our community. The committee offers a great opportunity to learn about how policy is determined, how it can be modifies and how to work with local entites for positive results.
Tourism/Events Committee

The Tourism Committee is responsible for promoting New Boston and encouraging tourism by promoting events to bring people to our community.
