Straw Poll February 2026

Straw Poll February 2026 is coming.

We've invited all the non-partisan candidates for the 11 races from state and county level to come to New Boston and speak for 3 minutes about their platform. We don't have confirmation on all of them yet, but they've all been invited. It will be held at our New Boston High School Auditorium.

This is a great opportunity for the candidates to be heard by all citizens. As we get closer to the date, we will confirm who is able to attend. Afterwards, we will hold a "Straw Poll" for everyone to place an unofficial vote about the various candidates. This is a free event, sponsored by the New Boston Chamber of Commerce, for our citizens to see and hear from their candidates of choice.

The New Boston Volunteer Fire Department will have a chili supper (nominal fund raising fee) at 5 pm and then the candidates will speak starting at 6 pm.
